Public employees in general--and teachers in particular--are currently under attack. It is the purpose of this blog to give teachers some hard ammunition with which to fight back against the "everybody knows" arguments wielded by those who don't bother to actually get the facts. Pay Teachers More (orig. 3/13/2011)
This column from this morning's NY Times deserves a read:
I always maintained I would know when teachers were properly paid. It would be when parents told their talented kids to go into teaching instead of law, engineering, medicine, finance, etc.
