This is another beautifully-written piece concerning a former teacher. After I read it, I wondered just how it would be possible to evaluate Mr. Trautwein using a mathematical formula containing the standardized test scores of his students as 50% of the formula.

In addition, the next few months will see many schools eliminating the "frills" taught by Mr. Trautwein.
